Is it possible for muslims to pray in english?

Or is it not the same if its not arabic, pplz help im confused which one should i do and what about duaas, do they work in english, can u make up ur own dua after reading the Quran like saying Dear God, u are the One, Eternal only you can help me so i ask of your mercy and repent of my sins, i just made that one up its my intentions that count right and I wanna talk to God and understand what im sayinng Sadly, idk how to namase but i want to learn so if i cant say duas in arabic, would praising Allah in english help ??
