Do you prefer John Lennon (solo) or the beatles?

The Beatles definitely. John Lennon lacked a certain je ne sais quoi. To me it sounded like his songs were only half-finished. Don't get me wrong, he had great songs, but they're just missing something. That's why I think John, Paul, and Ringo's solo careers never really did well after the Beatles. I do think John Lennon's solo would've been the most successful out of the three.
