Why do I get thumbs down whenever I say that John Lennon was...?

John Lennon was a beacon to all those hippie morons (who all eventually went to law school) who wanted Love, Man. And Give Peace a Chance, Dude. I think Lennon was an absolute hypocrite, a man who preached socialist values then went home to his Central Park penthouse and neglected his oldest son.
