Ramadan: Is my dua a little bit selfish?

salaam, i think you should save football as a ''hobby'' on the side. Be realistic about it being a professional career. My 11 year old son loves footy and goes football club, but he knows it's a dream many people wont get. He needs to do proper education to rely on as a future father and husband. I think you should think properly about your priorities. But it is not selfish to make any dua.
